Sketchbook on the way for Exhibition at RHS Rosemoor September 21. Packed for expansion. Stitched and softly bound. Lovely ribbon band and hollow spine. Maypole ribbon colours. I love the decay of fallen flowers as much as living.

Really enjoying experimenting with mark making and new paints in the studio. A work in progress. The River Erme at Piles Copse is the inspiration for this one. #sogoodtobeback
Delighted to have taken part in this record breaking event. #ArtforGood, 1000 artists painting on the coastline Lands End to Sennen, United Kingdom. Organised by artist Anthony Garratt, Newlyn School of Art and the National Trust. Raising profile of coastal erosion and funds for granite path on the edge of Cornwall. Great feeling to be part of a visible #masspainting creative thing!
A FUN day at Yarner Woods on the Granite Elements Project. Members of Bovey Tracey Society of Artists were inspired to create. We walked and explored gaining a sense of place. The bird song, the character of the trees, the strength of the granite. We talked of poetry, geology & history and how it informs our making. AND the joy of seeing M, at 85 years, able to join us in our outdoor workshop. Thanks Albert at Natural England for the Landy!
