This weekend the Society of National Park Staff held their annual conference here on Dartmoor.
Simon, a photographer and I from Dartmoor, held a workshop for participants from Pembroke, South Downs, Loch Lomond & The Trossachs and Exmoor.
We used mark making to record what we saw and found nature for painting tools. Ripe blackberries gave us a lovely maroon paint. Recycled card and old Dartmoor maps for concertina sketchbooks all tied with Dartmoor wool thread. Simon helped us all improve our photography skills!
Fabulous fun creating and exchanging stories.
