  1. My mom’s button jar was what I played with as a child and it contained a few buttons from her mother as well. I later inherited it when she died. Like a genome of sorts, it too tells a larger story than just our family’s fashion choices. I see some familiar buttons in your nan’s collection Amanda, and that’s pretty interesting!
